"I have reviewed the Will templates provided to me by Will Wizard and if those proposing to rely on the templates (“the Will owner”) have:
a) read and understood the explanatory material outlining the purpose and advantages offered by Will Wizard testamentary trust Wills;
b) accurately and honestly completed the Will Wizard online questionnaire in accordance with the guidelines contained therein;
c) (once in receipt of their Will portfolio) checked the accuracy of personal information contained in their Will from Will Wizard; and
d) correctly signed and dated each page of their Will observed by two independent witnesses as specified, who then both immediately sign each page of the Will using the same pen as the Will owner;
then such Wills will comply with Australian Succession legislation.
If correctly signed and witnessed they represent valid Australian Wills.
It is important to understand that the effectiveness and individual suitability of any Will template is solely determined by the Will owner’s personal needs, wishes and circumstances at the time of executing the Will template.
There are many needs, wishes and circumstances that such Will templates may not be suited for including but not limited to: if you have blended family, with or without children from a previous relationship, have a child or other beneficiary with a disability, if you a part owner in a business or company, receive income or have a discretionary trust, own property overseas, have an extensive or complex asset portfolio, or have other personal or asset complexities that fall outside of the norm. I have advised Will Wizard that anyone with such circumstances should first consult with an experienced legal professional.
